Thomas St Tavern is exactly that: located, surprisingly enough, on Thomas Ave, this watering-hole has a distinct "where everybody knows your name" vibe that attracts a regular but varied crowd. The entrance is through a leafy front patio that is pet-friendly

and has year-round outdoor seating.

The interior of the tavern has all the trappings of a great old-style pub that you'd love to have in your own apartment, including a jukebox and a pool table, but with welcome modern amenities such as free Wi-Fi and seven televisions dotted throughout the bar and restaurant areas. In keeping with the English-style pub feel, the dark, bold wood décor leads out to a traditional Brit-style beer garden, replete with a fully-stocked bar and even ping-pong tables with some mini stadium-style seating.

Speaking of the bar, the tavern offers over 60 bottled beers and varying draft brews, and is open until 2am most nights. Along with a wide variety of liquor, the bar also serves up some average pub grub, but it's better to just come here for the cheap drinks and relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
